While gas and electric grills are good alternatives for those who don’t want to spend time lighting a fire, connoisseurs and professional chefs prefer charcoal grills. While grilling takes more time, you will be rewarded with the typical smoky taste and aroma of grilled food. Briquettes or charcoal?

Are you hesitating whether to use briquettes or charcoal for your barbecue? Choose knives according to the type of food you are processing. The all-purpose chef’s knife is versatile and can be used to cut meat, chop vegetables and chop herbs. However, you will get the best results if you take a knife with a clear purpose. Tips for preparing meat on the grill

  • The steak slices should be 3-5 cm thick so that they do not fall apart or dry out too much on the grill. Grill them for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or 3 minutes for pork.
  • We recommend grilling poultry for 5-10 minutes depending on its thickness.
  • Pork and chicken should be allowed to rest after removing from the heat so that the juices inside are optimally distributed throughout the piece of meat. Therefore, cover or wrap the meat in foil for at least 5 minutes.
