Unlock Lid from Cup

To Unlock – Press down on end of Black Keys in centerTo Lock – Lift end of Black Keys in center until they snap shutThe Black Keys may be on one side of alternate sides of the Cup

Lock / Unlock Lid with Rack

Look at top of Lid.

In the center of Lid there are 3 large dots and 1 small dot.UNLOCK – Small dot is lined up with the 3 long ribs at top of Rack – Lift to remove Lid.LOCK – Lower Lid onto Rack and turn slowly. Lid will slip down onto Rack – Line up 3 large Dots with 3 long ribs.

Load bacon onto the Rack

Bacon slices have a meat side and fat side. It is preferable to load with the fat side in or alternate each slice. This will allow easy removal of the bacon after cooking.The raw bacon slices can be longer than the cooking vanes – Bacon will shrink up during cooking.If you have excess raw bacon, store in the WowBacon Storage Container

Lock Lid to Rack BEFORE placing into Cup

Place the Lid gently on the Rack and turn slowly. The Lid will slip down into place.To lock turn the Lid, slowly line up the 3 large dots with the 3 long ribs at the top of Rack.Place the Lid which is attached to the Rack into the Cup and raise the Black Keys up to lock the Lid to the CupThe bacon will be suspended above the bottom of the Cup to prevent hot spots from developing.

CAUTION: The Lid must be ATTACHED to the Rack before putting into the Cup or you will damage the unit and mess up your bacon

Place in Microwave

Cooking times vary depending on the Microwave, Bacon and Crispiness desired

Regular sliced bacon (16 /lb)

6 Slices

800W – 5 min. 1000W – 4 min. 1300W – 3 min.

3 Slices – cut time in half

Adjust times as desired

You may try lowering the Power Level to 70 – 90% and then cook

Chewy – less time

Crispy – more time

Once Cooked

Remove cooker from microwave using secure handleDetach Lid by pressing Black Keys down, lift Lid/Rack and place on firm surfaceSeparate Lid from Rack to expose cooked bacon.

Remove Bacon – unfold or leave folded as desired

If some of the bacon slices have stuck to one another, they can be easily separated by running a fork or knife between the pieces.Wait a bit for the bacon to crisp up and Enjoy…NO PAPER TOWELS!!!Where’s the grease? Cooking Eggs with the WowBacon cooker

Scrambled Eggs – Wet or Dry

After the bacon is cooked, pour out most of the drippings into the WowBacon Grease Pot or container Add a bit of butter and/or some cream to the Cup Add 2 Eggs and beat 5 – 10 secondsLock the Lid to the Cup and place in microwave. Leave the Rack asideMicrowave HIGH for 40 seconds. Remove from microwave, remove Lid and stir to mixPlace Lid back on Cup. Lock and cook for 25 seconds. Remove from microwave, take Lid off and stir Pour out mixture onto your plate, toast, wrap. Enjoy!
